SEP Incident Dates: January 23, 2026 – January 23, 2027
SEP Effective Dates: January 23, 2026 – March 31, 2027
Impacted Areas: All Mississippi counties

State Declaration #892 – State of Emergency for Winter Storm

SEP Incident Dates: January 23, 2026 – March 5, 2026
SEP Effective Dates: January 23, 2026 – April 30, 2026

Important Eligibility Reminder

DST-SEPs may only be used if:

The beneficiary was eligible for another valid election period during the disaster eligibility timeframe and
The beneficiary did not already make an election during that valid election period due to the disaster or other emergency.

If you or your clients were impacted by the recent winter storms, you may qualify for additional time to enroll in or modify your coverage.
